Protect Preston Park: Petitions

Further to an earlier posting:

I'm pleased to report that the first day of the petition was a big success, with virtually everybody who was approached being very willing to add their names to the cause.

I spoke to a lot of people in the time I was there this morning and there was an overwhelming feeling of disbelief, frustration and anger at the thought of building a school at Preston Park. Numerous people had come to the park specifically to sign the petition.

If you haven't already signed the petition but would like to do so, the opportunity will be there again over the next two days. People with petitions can easily be identified by their distinctive bibs, but if in doubt head for the cafe area.
